Bulletproof your cuff with a single band.

Keep the elbow glued to your ribs and move only at the shoulder.
With your elbow pinned at your side and bent to 90 degrees, rotating the forearm outward against the band trains the small rotator muscles at the back of the shoulder, the ones that keep the joint centred when you press and pull. The movement is tiny and the load is light on purpose, these muscles respond to precision, not poundage. It earns a permanent slot in warm-ups and prehab blocks because strong external rotators are the cheapest insurance a pressing shoulder can buy.
Light, lighter than your ego wants. If you're jerking the band or your elbow drifts off your ribs, it's too much. Smooth sets of 12 to 20 with a controlled return is the zone.
Before pressing sessions as activation, or at the end of upper days as maintenance. Two or three sets a few times a week is enough, consistency matters far more than intensity here.
Your bigger shoulder muscles are trying to take over as the cuff fatigues. Squeeze a rolled towel between your elbow and ribs, it instantly polices the position and keeps the work on target.
